Wildfire-Oak Brook is a steak and seafood house that has a gluten free menu. The restaurant is a modern day 1940’s dinner club. Their gluten free menu offers a variety of choices such as appetizers, salads, pizza, steaks, chops, seafood, pasta and desserts. Wildfire-Oak Brook uses an allergy stick to distinguish all allergies. For an appetizer we started with their Applewood Smoked Bacon-Wrapped Sea Scallop Skewers that comes with apricot sauce. The salads that we have had are the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad that comes with field greens, red and golden beets, marcona almonds and balsamic vinaigrette and their famous Wildfire Chopped Salad that comes with roasted chicken, avocado, tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, scallions, corn, baked tortillas strips and citrus limes vinaigrette. We had their Fresh Mozzarella Pizza that comes with fresh tomato and basil. They make their own pizza dough with Domata Living Flour. We were disappointed with the pizza. It wasn’t as good as other gluten free pizzas that we have had. It needed more cheese and tomato. The crust had a very bland taste to it. As far as seafood goes, their Cedar-Planked Salmon comes with brown sugar tamari glaze. It is amazing and we highly recommend it. Now, for their steak, we have had their Filet Mignon and it is very tender and tasty. Also, highly recommended. You can also have a Bison Filet which you don’t see at many restaurants. A great side dish is their Balsamic Roasted Vegetables. They have a variety of choices and even offer Macaroni and Cheese!!!! Other gluten free options are their Penne and Wood-Roasted Vegetables and Seafood Pasta Newburg. Wildfire-Oak Brook has a small selection of desserts that consist of Chocolate Chip Cookies, Fresh Berries, Vanilla Ice Cream Sundae and a Flourless Chocolate Cake. Our rating is 6.3.
