Seasons 52 Oak Brook is a wine bar and grill that offers fresh, seasonal restaurant dishes served in a casual and sophisticated atmosphere. They have a gluten sensitive menu and the servers are all very knowledgeable. They do not have a separate kitchen but have a great procedure in place. We felt very comfortable dining here. For our appetizer, under the Chef’s Suggestions, we had the gluten free Lobster and Fresh Mozzarella Flatbread which had lobster, roasted sweet peppers, scallions, fresh mozzarella and sour cream. It was delicious and a must to get when you are there. For our entree’s we had the Nantucket Island Bay Scallops, which were back for limited time. They made them gluten free for us since they were not on the gluten free menu. They replace the ravioli with extra micro arugula. We also had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos. They come with pico de gallo, salsa verde, and cilantro sour cream. You have to request the lettuce cups and no mole sauce. We also had the Wood-grilled Boneless Rainbow Trout. It comes with crushed potatoes, heritage carrots and grilled lemon. This dish was gluten free and did not need any modifications. For our side we had the Cremini mushrooms. For dessert we had the Raspberry Chocolate Chip Cannoli. You must request it without the cannoli shell. It comes in a shot glass and has mini chocolate chips, sweetened ricotta, mascarpone cheeses and a raspberry sauce. That is not to be missed! This was a special dinner as we shared it with our friend and web master, Young Jea Shin. He’s the best! CHEERS!!!!!!!!!! Our rating is 7.o.
