Maggiano’s Little Italy-Oak Brook, IL-update

Recently, we went back to Maggiano’s Little Italy in Oak Brook and as usual we were very impressed by the service, gluten free food and gluten free procedure.  We were also pleased to meet Executive Chef and Managing Partner Arturo Alvarado.  Arturo took our gluten free order and as usual our food was prepared perfectly.  We enjoyed meeting and talking to Arturo. You need to go and meet Arturo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maggiano’s is known for their classic Italian fare and has the feeling of being in Italy.  The most important thing is they have an amazing gluten free menu which includes great gluten free pasta!!!  Virtually anything on their menu can be made gluten free.  The best part is that when ordering, one of the chefs comes out to go over the menu with you and they actually take your order.  This is the best process for anyone that has food allergies. We have dined here many times and ALWAYS feel safe.  We really love starting with the Sausage and Peppers and the Calamari in which the chef grills them.  These are our favorite appetizers.  The Tomato Caprese should also not be missed.  Our favorite pasta is the Taylor Street Baked Ziti.  You would never know that the pasta was gluten free.  We also love that when you order one of the House Classic Pastas, you also get to pick another Classic Pasta to go.  Many of the Classic Pastas can be made gluten free so you have a variety to choose from.  The Grilled Salmon and Lemon Herb entree is also one of our favorites.  It comes with white butter sauce and spinach.  We would like to give a shout out to Sous Chef Samantha Segura-Calderon for always taking care of us when we dine there!  To a perfect ending of a perfect dinner you must have the Creme Brulee.  It is definitely a must go to restaurant!  Our rating is 7.0.
