Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab-Chicago is a classic steak and seafood house which is a Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant. They are known for their signature dish which is Stone Crab!!!!  They have a gluten free menu which offers a variety of appetizers, salads, stone crab, fish and steak dishes. They do not have separate kitchen but they have a gluten free procedure.  The servers seem to be knowledgeable regarding gluten free items but it is still good to ask for a manager when ordering. One of our favorite appetizers is their Shrimp and Scallop Ceviche. If you are in the mood for a salad the Seafood Chopped Salad has Alaskan King Crab, Lobster, Shrimp and a Creamy Vinaigrette. You can’t go wrong with any of the Stone Crab selections.  They are all good!!!!  A favorite fish dish of ours is their Roasted Alaskan Halibut with Wild Mushrooms and White Asparagus.  The Bone-In Filet Mignon is is an excellent choice for the meat lovers in your group.  There also is a variety of many other steaks to choose from.  Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab-Chicago has something for everyone!  So go ahead and pick your favorite food.  They have many sides to choose from and our favorite is  the Bake Sweet Potato with Praline Pecan Butter.  It’s like having desert for dinner. We also enjoyed the Steamed Asparagus with Lemon Butter and the Sauteed Broccolini.   They have an amazing wine list with a variety of wines to choose from.  The Legendary Joe’s Stone Crab first opened in Miami Beach and we are glad that they opened one in Chicago.  We also enjoy visiting the one in Las Vegas which is located at Caesars Palace in the Forum Shops. Whenever you are in a town that has Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, you MUST go!!!!! Crack open a few Crab Legs and sit back and enjoy a great glass of wine!!!!!!!!!!!! Our rating is 6.7.
