Glaze Teriyaki is delicious and nutritious food. There style of food is called Seattle-Style Teriyaki which combines the best flavors and ingredients of Korean and Japanese Style Teriyaki. They use mostly local ingredients prepared daily from scratch. Glaze Teriyaki has a gluten free menu that has a variety of choices. It is a healthy fast food restaurant with very economical prices. You get a choice of a white or brown rice or no rice extra salad and a protein which consists of Salmon, Chicken Breast or Thigh, Steak, Tofu, Wok-Sauteed Vegetables and Boneless Pork Loin. You can also get a salad plate that comes with Edamame, cucumber, Steamed Edamame, Shishito Pepper, and Cucumber Salad. They also have an amazing gluten free dessert which is Toasted Almond Rice Pudding. We have had the Salmon Teriyaki Plate with extra salad, no rice, cucumber side salad and of course the Toasted Almond Rice Pudding. They put a house seasoning on their meats and fish but you can ask them to keep it plain. They also add sesame to the salmon. There is an option to add extra protein to your meal. Their gluten free teriyaki sauce is really good and they use Kikkomans gluten free soy sauce in their recipes for the gluten free dishes. They marinade the regular meats and fish but the gluten free meats and fish are in a separate container with no marinade. They seemed to be very knowledgeable about food allergies. We felt comfortable eating at Glaze Teriyaki-Chicago. They offer full service catering for small or large gatherings. The Chicago location recently opened and is located in the Lakeview neighborhood. The other locations are in New York and San Francisco. We say GO GET GLAZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our rating is a 7.0.
