Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse-Oak Brook, IL is a classic steakhouse which has been opened in Chicago since opening its doors 27 years ago. They do not have a gluten free menu but they have some gluten free options. We definitely suggest talking to a manager before ordering. We have had their salmon in which the just use oil, pepper and salt. They do not have a procedure in place but do try to take precautions when preparing your food. We have had their filet prepared gluten free. They do not offer any toppings but the meat itself alone is very good. Sometimes less is better. We have also had their Alaskan King Crab Legs which are delicious. For an appetizer you can order the Shrimp Cocktail but you can not have the sauce. The Caprese Salad is great for one or to share and it comes with local tomatoes, mozzarella, oil and basil. For a side dish we both love the broccoli which we order without the hollandaise sauce since it is not gluten free but they are great steamed and definitely a side you will want to share. Their portions are big enough for two or more to share. We also enjoy having a cocktail in the bar area where there is music or the outdoor patio. Our rating is 3.8.
