Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Chicago, is located inside the Historic Landmark Esquire Theater. The restaurant specializes in prime steaks and seafood along with fine wines. They have a gluten free menu at the restaurant but online the gluten free items are on the regular menu and marked with a fork and knife. The servers are knowledgeable about gluten free foods. They take your order and still confirm your order with the chef. For starters, we had the Chilled Shrimp Cocktail and the Marinaded Shrimp. For our salad we chose the Heirloom Tomatoes and Burrata. Although it is not on the gluten free menu, they were able to make the item gluten free without the Aged Reduction Balsamic and Pesto. Even though it came plain, it was an amazing salad. We had the Seared Chilean Sea Bass which also was not on the gluten free menu but they changed it by putting the fish over asparagus. They are able to accommodate you even though the item is not on the gluten free menu. They just change some of the items that come on the regular menu. We also had the Wagyu Tomahawk Chop which was one of the best steaks we ever had. One of the sides that we had were the mushrooms which are not on the gluten free menu but they did prepare them gluten free. They have an amazing gluten free menu but you can really order almost anything on the menu. They will accommodate you. Our rating is 7.0.
